Have you ever got a call or an appointment from someone or that office that made you dance on your toes thinking it's done? Did you even call your clan members, relatives and friends to inform them that soon you will be fine and they meet you a year later not yet sorted?

I remember the day I got an appointment in state house with Mr. Byaruhanga I danced the whole night! Very expectant, I woke up too early and made my way to Nakasero with a handbag for carrying my Cheque of 2.5 million tuition debt but lost air at the entrance of the office. As I entered, he stared at me as if I was in a wrong place before giving me a sit. He then asked me why I was there? I reached into my bag to remove a long letter that I had written to the President but he quickly told me just to say why I came? Before I finished explaining he asked who told me that there was money in State House. Then asked me whom I voted for during the concluded presidential elections. You can guess the end of the story. I think the reply/regret was typed earlier before I arrived
😂 I didn't know how to deliver the message I received from the State House.

I have had people faint because of such news but you need to wear shock absorbers. I once waited for someone who went to the USA for three months and promised to fund-raise particularly for my cause. I counted days, months and hours and he finally returned with the package of 27,000 UGX
🙆

Many shocking things will happen but don't get heart attack as if I didn't tell you. I have some times organized events on the promises of my partners' support only to receive texts a few days to the event that we should cancel it out. Some other people just tell me that they can't fulfill their pledges but they know the Lord will do miracles which I hesitantly say Amen as I check in my bag for family Cheque book to withdraw our little savings.

I have traveled abroad on government tickets hopping to get some money as an official only to spend months away with no coin in my pocket and come back to pay my debts.

From my life experience, I always prepare for a rainy day even if it's a dry season. I stopped dancing until the party is over.
